My employer has a Wellness Committee. The committee’s mandate is to promote wellness at work & at home. Since most of us now work remotely, from time to time they offer virtual activities during our lunch break like yoga, healthy heating. I just wish those sessions would be more frequent to keep employees motivated.
Our institution has a Sustainable Commuting policy where people are encouraged to take other means of transportation than their cars and it reimburses up to $300 per year for gym memberships, bike repairs, bus passes etc. The program is very successful and even though it is a taxable benefit, it was well received overall.
