Which HR software do you use? How would you rate it, and what do you like and don’t like about it?

We are currently using Clarity by Paymate. It is an older system so there are some distinct limitations (mostly inability to pull information from the system the way we need, any customization has to be done by the provider, even simple reports, and no employee interface). We are looking to navigate to a new payroll system that has an employee interface (web and mobile), improved reporting capabilities (allows for customization), more recruitment and onboarding functionality, and one place for all our information, minimizing our need for having to maintain countless spreadsheets. It will be a big change and a big learning curve, but the benefits and efficiency gains will be endless.

We are currently using InfHR. Back ground facing seems archaic, unfortunately this system will not integrate with our Payroll Software ICity(Vadim/Central Square)

We currently are using Harmony by Paymate. Similar to Denise’s comments regarding Clarity, a lot needed to be customized or just isn’t available. This web program does have HR, Payroll, Time & Attendance, and Employee Self-Service all in the same program. It does have various import/export options which I’ve used to bring data into excel to work with – If it wasn’t for this, reporting would be very difficult. We haven’t used a lot of the HR section yet as we haven’t had time to set it up but it does have onboarding/offboarding, training, reviews, etc. I really like that everything is in one place and that it is web based so can be accessed from anywhere. For context we are a group of 8 small private companies, the largest having roughly 25 employees, the smallest 5, we have no unions and no taxable benefits, so our payroll is fairly simple.
